I stumbled on these My Little Pony makeovers on the Guardian website and felt they redeemed the original somewhat sickly icon which I know, I know was much loved by young children.
The creator Mari Kasurinen has given My Little Pony a witty reincarnation by mimicking the characters from favourite films like Batman and Pirates of the Caribbean. There are fourteen of them. The juxtaposition of the cute and the cult makes them absurdly wonderful. But before you put one on your wish list, bear in mind that they are selling for a less than cute price of £330 each.

All I want for Christmas is a Storm Trooper my little pony! I did some research on to how these are made and have found out there is a huge business in custom MYP's. However, hardly any are as good as this - but I would love to see you attempt some....hmmmm I feel a birthday present coming on..... x
