    Slightly provocative poses your model finds herself in. I would be surprised if it were not so! I suppose Stubbs would have done this if he hadn't concentrated so much on the horses.

    columnist:From what I've read about old Stubbs, he may have preferred the horses.
    Is it true he heaved a dead pony to his upstairs studio on his shoulders?
    You have a gift for composition, Rose. I have to cut out various elements of my drawings and place them in the correct position. Never get it right off the bat.

    Jodhpurs- a wonderful solution for women who don't want to ride side saddle- As Mammy said in Gone with the Wind "It ain't fittin' for a girl child to ride a-straddle with her dress flyin' up"

    Ah Mr Worthington, that's so good of you to say so. There is also something rather poignant about a riding hat hanging about on the premises of someone who has no pony and can barely ride.
